Ofsted – the Office for Standards in Education – is the inspectorate for children and learners in England.
It is their job to contribute to the provision of better education and care through effective inspection and regulation. Our school was most recently inspected in June 2019; the report on their findings can be found by using the link below.
Staff, pupils and parents were delighted with the findings of the Ofsted inspector and we feel that this report truly reflects the position of the school at the present time.

The key finding of this report is that our school is a good school.
This is a particularly pleasing achievement in a year when Ofsted have raised the standard required to be regarded as good. The inspector found that ‘Pupils typically achieve well across the broad curriculum. Workbooks show that pupils deepen their understanding in a wide range of subjects. Current assessment information indicates that pupils in most groups make good progress across a range of subjects, including English and mathematics.
It was also commented that the school is welcoming, inclusive and at the heart of the local community. Pupils are proud of their school, saying it is ‘awesome, fun and interesting’.
